A new industry benchmarking service called the Fitness Market Monitor will be launched in the late autumn of 2008 by The Leisure Database Company (TLDC). The new service is being devised following extensive consultation with the industry and will offer access and value to the entire industry. This new monitoring service will be inclusive and representative.
TLDC already provide the industry’s definitive database on facilities and profile millions of live fitness consumers. It is therefore a natural extension to now collect and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
Compare Performance
The Fitness Market Monitor will offer operators the ability to cross reference their performance against others in the sector, identify trends and gauge fluctuations in business activity. Operators will be able to track and monitor KPIs such as revenue, yield per member and sales against the UK market and defined comparable sectors.
