Our Active Places research team maintain the Active Places website on behalf of Sport England. Keeping the up to date intelligence on over 28,000 sport sites and 56,000 sports facilities, is the task of the eleven strong Active Places team. The Active Places project is managed by Jamie Buck and Charlotte Quesnel.
Each of the researchers are allocated a Government region to manage and they organise their work on a local authority basis, building an encyclopaedic knowledge of the area they are working in.
