Jamie Buck - IT Manager & Active Places Project Manager
Role
Jamie joined the team in 1998 and now has a dual-role as I.T. Manager and Project Manager for our Active Places data supply contract with Sport England.
Experience
After graduating from the University of Birmingham with a Combined Honours degree in Sport & Recreation Studies and Geography, Jamie then became a fully qualified teacher of Physical Education, where he also picked up coaching qualifications in 10 sports. Jamie started with the company as a researcher on the Sportsline service and was the Local Authority Subscriptions Officer, before focusing on Information Technology and it's role in developing our in-house database system, TLDCi, from the concept stages through to its ongoing development today. Jamie prepares many of the State of the Industry Reports and is our Active Places Project Manager.
